The 2300 Club have presented a cheque for £1000 to Pendleside Hospice following the success of their ‘Mullin’ Around 2: The Forum’ evening at Nelson Cricket Club in December.
The evening raised £2000 which was split between the Hospice and the Georgia Fourie Butterfly Fund at Holly Grove School in Burnley.
Organisers Arlene Calvert, Pete Kenyon and Neil Calvert handed over the cheque to Leah Hooper, Community Engagement Officer at Pendleside Hospice.
She said: “We are so grateful for the support of the 2300 Club. Each year, we need £6.4m to run the Hospice but thanks to the continued support of everyone in the community we are able to meet that target.”
