The 2300club are planning to run this years Andy Mort Tour in October. Plans will be based around Covid19 restrictions and rules at the time. More Information will be released in the coming months. Promises to be another great event as usual, with another scenic route through the lanes of Lancashire. Not to be missed.

Well, let’s start with the good news. Colin Johnstone and Gilda got married at Tobermory Registry Office this morning. Apparently it was a snap decision and allegedly, Colin was (relatively) sober at the time. Now they will go on honeymoon, servicing for Jim McDowall (92) – so who’s idea was that? Congratulations to you both, from all of us on Mull, and if you see two pairs of legs sticking out from under a rally car this evening – stay well clear!

DIRECTORS' REPORT
The Company has enjoyed a successful year in 2008/9. The 39th Tunnocks Tour of Mull Rally, our primary function, is as popular as ever and a source of huge enjoyment to everyone involved.

So what’s the relevance of the the Network Q RAC Rally to the Tour of Mull? Well the fact is that our own Clerk of the Course, Nigel Worswick competed in this years event in his own car and finished a very creditable 11th overall.
To keep it even more "in the family", Nigel’s co-driver was Clive Molyneux, our assistant clerk of the course (Now taken over from Nigel as Clerk of the Course – ed).
So before anybody accuses us of not knowing what we are up to – think again! A full report of the event is included below:
