Drive With Respect on the Andy Mort Tour

The 2300 Club would like to remind entrants on the Andy Mort Tour that all marshals and officials will also be acting as Judges of Fact for Driving Standards.

This is in response to a number of alleged incidents of anti-social driving on Touring Assemblies.

“There have been reports of speeding in villages, unsafe overtaking, and, very worryingly, clashes with members of the public, “ said Tour secretary Stuart Pye.

“We want everyone to have a great day out and enjoy themselves behind the wheel, but we also need to safeguard future Touring Assemblies.
“We will have no hesitation in taking firm action against any crews seen driving anti-socially. This will include banning both driver and navigator from future 2300 club events. We will also consider an immediate confiscation of the road book in extreme cases.”

A ‘Drive With Respect’ guide to Touring Assemblies will be included in the drivers information pack

The Andy Mort Tour runs under Motorsport UK permit ref: 200616
