“We’re still Hungary for success” says Ifan

Fresh from winning the Junior BRC, Ifan Devine and Luke Constantine get their first taste of rallying Hungarian-style this weekend.

Our John Easson winner and his driver will tackle the Zemplen Rally, their reward for winning the 2026 Stellantis Cup. The pair will also get a test in a WRC-spec Lancia Ypsilon Rally2 as part of the prize.

And preparation for the final round of the Hungarian Rally Championship hasn’t been easy, as Ifan explained:

“All the documentation was in Hungarian, and I’m not really very fluent in that!” he said.

“It’s been an added challenge but I’m really looking forward to it.

“We’ve got a busy week ahead with a pre-event test tomorrow and then recce Thursday and Friday. The rally itself takes place on Saturday and Sunday.

“Hopefully a good recce will set up us nicely for the rally. But there’s no real pressure on either of us, it is more about the enjoying the whole experience.

“It will be amazing competing on an event abroad, something I’ve wanted to do since I started competing.”
