The Simon Bibby Marshals Award

The 2300 Club is proud to announce that there will be a Marshals Award on this month’s Andy Mort Tour in memory of Simon Bibby.

“Simon was a longstanding and much-loved member of the club, taking on the role of Chief Marshal on the Tour of Mull Rally and the Andy Mort Tour, so it seemed appropriate that we honour his memory with this new award,” explained club chairman Neil Molyneux.
“This will take the form of a draw, with the winner receiving a pair of engraved tumblers which will be presented by Stuart Bibby, Simon’s father at the finish. Stuart will also be bringing Simon’s BMW Mini Cooper S, which he drove a course car, along to the ceremonial start at West Bradford Village Hall.”
In a touching tribute to the memory of Simon, his uncle, Geoff Rothwell, and brother, Gareth Bibby, have entered this year’s Andy Mort Tour. They will start at car 34 in Simon’s Mini Cooper.
