Emily lends a helping hand for the Snowman Rally

When Scott Beattie’s navigator Peredur Davies was forced to miss this weekend’s  Snowman Rally, there was only one person to turn to – his girlfriend Emily Easton-Page.

The 2300 Club’s John Easson Award winner was happy to step in at the last-minute, despite a busy month which will see Emily contest three rallies in four weeks.

“I couldn’t really say no could I?” she said. “I’m really looking forward to contesting the Snowman alongside Scott in his very quick Fiesta R5.

“I hadn’t planned on doing the event as it’s the final round of the BTRDA Championship, the Cambrian Rally, next weekend, but it was too good an opportunity to turn down.”

Scott and Emily are seeded at car four for the Inverness-based event, which features 43 miles of gravel stages in the Muir of Ord area.

Last year’s JEA winner Johnnie Mackay is also competing, seeded at car 16 in his Mitsubishi Evo7, with Rachel Matheson on the maps
