Emily and Liam are on the right Track

EMILY Easton-Page and Liam Clark head for the North Yorkshire forests this weekend with a point to prove.
The pair were in brilliant form last time out on the Woodpecker Stages, setting a string of top three times before the handbrake broke on their Fiesta Rally2.

“We are extra-motivated for the Trackrod Rally on Saturday for two reasons. It’s Liam’s home event and he really wants to do well in front of his friends and family, and we want to prove that we can repeat that performance from two weeks ago,” explained Emily, our reigning John Easson Award winner.

“I’ve done the event twice in the historic class, but this will be my first Trackrod in anything as quick as Liam’s Fiesta. The rally is different some ways from other BTRDA rounds and there are a lot of long straights, followed by square lefts and right, but I’m sure we’ll be ok. We were very disappointed after the Woodpecker as the times were there, just not the result.

“But, confidence is building in the car and we are definitely heading in the right direction.”
Emily and Liam are seeded at car 5 in a capacity field, with 45 ‘single use’ miles ahead of them on the famous gravel stages in Dalby and Cropton/Gale Rigg forests.
