Tunnock's Tea Cake Eating Competition

Following the success of last year's contest, Tunnock's have agreed to provide even more of their delicious Tea Cakes for the 2009 Tunnock's Tea Cake eating contest which will be held in the Isle of Mull Hotel, Craignure, at 21:30 hrs. on Thursday 8th. October.

The rules of the competition are simple!  Eat as many Tunnock's Tea Cakes as you can in four minutes, and then drink a can of Barr's Irn-Bru, finishing it within 60 seconds.  If there is a tie at that point, a further two minutes will be given.

Last year's competition had a full entry list of 50 competitors and entries this year will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis. Contestants must be over 18 years of age. You must arrive at the Isle of Mull Hotel by 21:00 to allow for registration for the event

There is no entry fee, and all you need to do is send an e-mail to teacake@2300club.org with the following detail:

SUBJECT: Entry for Tunnock's Tea Cake Eating Competition
MESSAGE: Name of Entrant (please specify the names of who is competing)
    mobile phone number,
    your connection with the rally,
    confirmation that you are over 18.

We will confirm back to you during the week of the 5th October if your entry has been successful
