Originators of UK closed road motorsport

Our current JEA winner’s endorsement

“Last week the John Easson Award ran by the 2300 Club opened its entries in search of a 2021 winner. Over the last 2 years, I have been fortunate enough to receive the help and guidance from winning the award in 2019 and I urge any young rally driver & co driver who meet the criteria below to enter.

For me, this year the John Easson Award backing has provided significant funding towards my Scottish Rally Championship campaign. It really is a top prize with no strings attached for very little time in the way of applying. This award offers the perfect opportunity to cross off the cost of entry fees when planning your rallying season in 2022.

In order to apply for the 2021 award you must be aged under 25, compete as a driver or co driver in the British Isles and hold a Motorsport UK competition licence. The application must include your Motorsport CV, a detailed covering letter / presentation, as well as a letter from a 3rd party explaining why you are a worthy candidate (for example this could include, member of motorclub, championship organiser or fellow competitor)

I would like to offer my support by being available to give guidance to possible applicants, or if anyone may require more information. Feel free to email  ewan@ewantindall.com and I will get back to you.”
