This year, despite extensive lobbying by the 2300 Club, Caledonian MacBrayne have decided not to make any concessionary fares available and so the 2300 Club will NOT be issuing Ferry Booking Forms. They have promised to support the event in ways other than providing discounted ferry fares. It is recommended that you go ahead and secure a ferry booking via their website at http://www.calmac.co.uk/book-online.html or by telephone (08705 650000). OK, not quite true, but now we have your attention, the 2300 Club will pay for your ferry and make a contribution towards the cost of your fuel - if you help us out! So if you are thinking of coming to the island to spectate or are coming with a competitor and would like to join in, why not come and marshal instead. There are lots of jobs to suit all abilities.

Year on year the Tour of Mull gains in popularity with spectators, something as organisers we actively encourage, it does however bring with it issues that we are finding difficult to control and need the help of all the people who spectate to help us resolve.

The 2300 Club, organisers of the legendary Tunnock’s Tour of Mull closed road tarmac rally, is proud to announce 24 year old Scotsman Ryan Borthwick as winner of the 2006 John Easson Scholarship for young rally drivers.
The scholarship, now in its third year, is named after rally driver John Easson, a regular competitor on the Isle of Mull and a generous supporter of the 2300 Club before tragically losing his life in an air accident in 1999.
