Good luck from everyone at the 2300 Club to Ifan Devine and Luke Constantine for this weekend’s Trackrod Rally.
The pair are taking a break from their BRC campaign to tackle Luke’s ’home’ event.
Almost sixty miles in the North Yorkshire forests also gives them more seat time on gravel ahead of the BRC finale, the Cambrian Rally, next month.
Ifan, our reigning John Easson Award winner, and Luke are entered into the Historic Cup class in their Opel Corsa Rally 4 as modern cars are also eligible.
The Trackrod Historic Cup will have a ceremonial start and finish on the seafront at Filey, and opens with a 12-mile stage in Dalby Forest in the dark on Friday evening. Saturday’s stages comprise 43 miles in Staindale, Dalby, Gale Rigg and Cropton.
