The 40th Tunnock's Tour of Mull was like the Scottish weather. Unpredictable, unexpected  and full of wind, at least when the competitors are describing their antics to me! Don't believe me? Look at those results again. The top three cars are two wheel drive, two of them drive from the rear, and one of them pulls at the front. And not a turbocharger in sight. Progress, eh? Dontcha just love it?

Tunnock's Tea Cake Eating Competition

Following the success of last year's contest, Tunnock's have agreed to provide even more of their delicious Tea Cakes for the 2009 Tunnock's Tea Cake eating contest which will be held in the Isle of Mull Hotel, Craignure, at 21:30 hrs. on Thursday 8th. October.

Oban FM will be covering the rally once more and bringing you great driving music, updates, gossip and blatant plagerism throughout the weekend. We are available on 103.3 FM on the islands east side and on the mainland (30 miles radius of Oban) and online at www.obanfm.org.uk

AML, The official photographers for the Tour of Mull, are offering to take photos of Crews and Cars, which will be included in the standard CD of shots from the rally that they are offering competitors...

Caravans and Campervans are not permitted on the campsite at Calgary Bay. We have been asked to draw your attention to this as action could be taken against people who break this byelaw.

The 40th Tour of Mull Rally will take place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday 9/10/11th of October 2009. Below is a list of road closure times for your information. Under the terms of the Strathclyde Regional Council Confirmation Act 1990, the following roads will be closed for the 2009 Tunnock’s Tour of Mull Rally at these times:
